So let's start from the beginning. This is a very unique game in story wise and there is very few games I can compare it to. 'Life Is Strange' episode 1 blew me away and I can already tell that it is going to take the choice based games by storm and may be the leader of the pack for quite some time.
The first episode starts with Max, a photography senior who finds out she has the ability to go back in time when she saves her friend's life. She than tries different ways to experiment with her time travel abilities. However, she soon learns that changing the past will have different consequences for the future some bad and some good. It is up to you, as a gamer, to explore these possibilities.
With a great soundtrack and amazing artwork to follow up with the story, I can see that 'Life Is Strange' is going to be one of the top games of 2015 and if not than it will be a close 2nd place to any other choice based games that come out this year.
I feel they have done an amazing job to keep us all hooked even on the first episode. I was already hanging on the edge of my seat and wanting more from the developers soon.
I so far rate this amazing episode a 8/10 due to it's amazing story and engaging gameplay. Some of the speech animation with the characters could be improved but, to me, it is the only visible downfall of the episode so far!
Cannot wait to review the other episodes of 'Life Is Strange'.
