So GTA V is the most dominating game of 2014 and has won multiple awards for having the greatest amount of purchases within 24 hours of its release and earning the most profit any video game has ever got. If you think that is impressive then you might be shocked to know that these were all achieved with the first Gen of the game and now for all the enjoyment for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 fans, they have released the "Next Gen" of GTA V.
Okay, I know Next Gen isn't a new thing however, the things gamers are discovering in the Next Gen version of the game are new! For those who do not know, the first version of GTA V was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 but they released the Next Gen so that players who had a PS4 or Xbox One could transfer all their data from the first Gen to the Next Gen which offered improved graphics, exclusive first person mode and much more. (As shown in the comparison above.)
So in the Next Gen, gamers have discovered that there is a new murder mystery. (NOT to be confused with the Infinity Killer) There is a completely new mystery that Rockstar have given players to solve.
(Warning! Before you read anymore, there are spoilers! You have been warned!)
So in the first gen of the game you could find this boarded-up mine entrance that couldn't be broken into no matter what you did, which included shooting, punching and blowing the wood up. It would not budge...until the Next Gen came along.
This is what the tunnel looks like and here is the location. When you enter the tunnel you get a very ghostly feeling or the sense of something that is not right. To many players shock and horror, they would soon find a body laying down on the floor and seeming to have been there a very long time. The body is dressed in a suit, like the ones warn in the game L.A. Noire. (Another Rockstar Game) Most people at first thought this was an Easter egg left by the developers to allow them to send a slight nod to their successful game L.A. Noire. But this was soon put to rest...
This is the body that is found in the tunnel. So far this is the only relevant thing in the tunnel and has no other real purpose than to hide the body. As far as the gamers have found anyway.
So if you want to complete this murder mystery than you can follow these steps.
- You have to do the mission as Michael and will not work if you find the clues as Trevor or Franklin.
- First go to The Gentry Manor Hotel and find the note on the wall that reads "Old Fred Acts Nice, But It Ain't So!" wait till you see the auto save sign appears and then you can leave.
- The second message is at the City Hall Parking Lot and reads "Fred Makes Cartoons For Kids, Funny Thing Considering What He Did." again, wait for the auto save again and then leave.
- The third message is at The Oriental Theatre and reads "Ain't No Mystery. They Drowned Her Because Of What She Knew!"
- The Final Message is at the Galileo Observatory and reads "David Richards Knows"
- Once you have found these messages you can find the drowned body of a woman in the deep water area of Fort Zancudo and you must have a submarine or scuba gear to reach her.
- From there you can then go to Solomon Richard's office to find the Confession. Simply go to his office after 9PM and read the paper on his desk.
- Once this note is read, you are then lead to Isaac's body in the tunnel.
- Finally, when you return to Isaac's body then you have then solved the mystery and for your efforts you get new filter which gives the game a 1930's look. This is activated by calling Isaac off your iFruit Phone and is available for all three characters in the main story.
And there you have it, this is just one of the many mysteries that are likely to turn up in the Next Gen version of the game. According to a few sources the Mount Chiliad Mystery still remains unsolved and is still baffling even the greatest gamer minds. Maybe Rockstar dropped some hints in the places that gamers overlooked in the first gen of the game and has given a few helpful tips as to how to solve the mystery.
